Completion of 24/7 Continuous Pressurized Water Supply

Project Achievement: Completion of 24/7 Continuous Pressurized Water Supply System for Jasin and Merlimau, Melaka.

We are pleased to report the successful completion of the Design, Construction, and Operation of a fully pressurized, continuous 24/7 water supply distribution system serving the areas of Jasin and Merlimau, Melaka.

The project encompassed a comprehensive scope of infrastructure development, including the establishment of 60,000 metered service connections, construction of five elevated reservoirs (3.0 million liters each), three ground storage tanks (4.0 million liters each), three booster pump stations, and the deployment of an integrated SCADA system with smart metering and telemetry for centralized operational control.

Following commissioning, we undertook the operation and maintenance of the system, ensuring service continuity, system integrity, and optimal performance across the distribution network.

Throughout the operation and maintenance period, all key contractual performance indicators were successfully achieved, including:

• A minimum 98% daily water supply continuity across the service network;

• Reduction of Non-Revenue Water (NRW) to below 18% within the first operational year;

• Full compliance with Ministry of Health (MOH) and Suruhanjaya Perkhidmatan Air Negara (SPAN) drinking water quality standards.

The system incorporated real-time monitoring, data-driven management, and predictive maintenance strategies, delivering enhanced operational efficiency and reliability.

The successful delivery of this project reflects our ongoing commitment to engineering excellence, operational best practices, and sustainable infrastructure development.
